Yes!  We offer a variety of courses in CPR and First Aid, from beginning to professional level. You can find detailed descriptions of the different courses at CPR and First Aid or call the chapter office at 443-4521 for more information. 

 
 

 

 Which CPR and/or First Aid class should I take? 

 

If you need CPR and/or First Aid for employment:

Certain jobs require a very specific level of training. Ask your supervisor what level of training you need.  A detailed description of the different levels can be found on our CPR and First Aid page.

 

If you are taking the training for personal enrichment:

Call the chapter office and we will help you make the right choice based on your own situation.

 When is the next CPR and/or First Aid class offered?

 

Classes are held on a regular basis.  Check the left hand size of every web page for a current schedule of classes or call the chapter office at 443-4521.

 How long are my CPR and/or First Aid cards good for?

 

CPR: All CPR cards are good for 1 year.

First Aid: Pediatric First Aid - 2 years

                 Standard First Aid - 3 years

                 Wilderness First Aid - 3 years

                 Emergency Response First Aid - 3 years

 How do I get a replacement CPR and/or First Aid card? 

 

To request a replacement card, call the chapter office at 443-4521 with the date and location of the class you took and the name of your instructor.  The fee for replacement CPR and First Aid cards is $10.

 What does the fee for the CPR courses cover?

 

The fee for the Adult CPR course is $40.00.  The fees cover the expenses for the classroom, instructor, book, training manikins, and certification card. For an additional $10.00, you can get Child and Infant CPR training.

First Aid courses are $35 if taken separately. There is a discount if you enroll for both classes offered on the same day.
